For Spring Break, R and I went to Vegas for a little mini-break holiday. It was very fun, over the top and bizzare. R enjoyed the slots, I enjoyed the vegetation....funny all the "gardens" in the middle of the desert, only in Vegas. Of course, everything is bigger and more extreme in Vegas.
At the Bellagio hotel there is a garden display that is changed 5 times a year with the seasons. We arrived just in time to see the new Spring display with the butterfly enclosure. Most of the flowers and vegetation are real, except the giant glass flowers, talk about extreme.
In the photo below, the trowel handle and "ground" are covered with hens and chicks (see closeup).
